Server will be physically changing addresses and also IP will change.  This will cause downtime for 1-4 days depending on how that goes.  I should have put this up sooner but there's not alot of people this will affect anyway.

I know you guys are probably thinking same ole crap, but I have alot going on right now...trying to finish up some last-minute school registration ...I just procrastinate everything so badly...and depending on what classes are available...and im working full time ...

I promised you guys the damn candles like a million times ...i'll give some soon ...but as far as any major overhauls to anything, its probably not gonna happen anytime soon.  I'm sure you guys are probably used to the never-around admin kinda thing ..but hell ...

I mean it's either be absentee or just take the server down ... and I wanna leave it up... I wanna keep it up  ...and hopefully I can toy with it ...  Some things just come first ... And to be honest, my knowledge of java sucks anyway.

So, you guys are welcome to play here ..i just wouldn't expect a whole lot as far as changes.. and if y'all prefer to play somewhere else that's cool, just please don't advertise here, and be respectful to each other.

In case anyone is "new" to this whole "friskycow" nonsense, I totally have the longest non-wipe lineage one private server.

And a forum is way easier to throw up and edit than trying to tweak game code...the answer to why the forum gets attention when the game server does not. 

So the subject here is slightly light-hearted...and accurate.  I upgraded the forum to the latest version in the war against the bots.  I have several new anti-computer measures for registration now. (since doing that, at least one guy made an account...so humans are getting through .. let me know if you have any problems)

I spent quite a while working on the shoutbox issue.  I try to keep things simple where possible and by doing so sometimes I create weird problems in the process.  The shoutbox script I was using is for the older version of this particular forum.. I tried unsuccessfully to get it to work again.  As it turns out it was the best for what I wanted it to do...the ones i find that "work" don't fit my needs.

The short version is I ran out of time.  Right now, the forum/website is still semi-broken.  If you have any problems registering a new forum account e-mail me at cowsarecool5 (at) gmail (dot) com .  There's still a few administrative things I really want to do - such as having better controls over account creation for the game server.

I was originally gonna do a few things today, but I spent a couple hours at the dentist getting a couple fillings and my teeth cleaned...so I really wasn't feeling up to it.

Well lets just say I am easily taunted so I decided to go ahead and take some action on banning some accounts of some alleged cheaters.

I am considering a different approach to account creation, such as a web form requiring a valid e-mail.  Not that I am against you having a couple of accounts...but I am against you having 20 accounts.  Anyone can still play here.  That is, anyone who is not a douche.  What do you guys think about tightening "security" (for lack of a better word) on account creations?
